Birka | Birch Leaf, Peat, and Sandalwood
Inspired by the Swedish Viking Settlement, Birka encompasses the scents of vibrant island life in the 8th-10th centuries.
Mood: The scent of birch is crisp in the air. Freshly hewn wood ready to be moulded into ships litter the shore. A busy port town in the middle of autumn. Earthy moss climbs thatched roofs, mingling with the scent of peat fires and sun-bleached cloth. Fabrics are woven, intricate patterns on dyed webs, amber-scented and sweet.
Fragrance: Birch leaf, peat, earth, patchouli, sandalwood, amber, moss.
